Following are the disadvantages of Niti aayog

You can’t apply as an individual. A valid PAN Card of society/trust/NGO is mandatory. A unique ID will be issued to the NGOs. While applying for the allow from the ministry as per the objectives of the NGOs they have to mention that unique ID. Eligible to get Register under NITI AAYOG Any  NGO/ society which is registered as a trust/ society/ a private limited non-profit company, under section-8 Company of the Indian Companies Act, 2013 are eligible to get registered under NITI AAYOG

  • Benefit of getting Registration under NITI  AAYOG It is Mandatory for All NGO/Vo as specified above, to get enrolled themselves on NITI Aayog site and get Unique Id before getting any grant from Government Departments

The following step to be taken for NITI AAYOG registration

  1. Visit – https://ngodarpan.gov.in/
  2. Click on Login/Register Link mention above and signup.
  3. Provide Name of NGO/( Trust / Section 8 company Society ), Member details and Mobile Number and Contact Person Mail Id for NGOs Put Security Code and Submit the request and after That Provide PAN Detail of NGO.
  4. After entering this you will receive OTP on Mobile Number and Mail id given by you for generating a Password for further Login.
  5. Now log in again. Enter your Login ID and Password.
  6. After Login, You will find the PAN Number and Name of the NGO as pre-filed.
  7. Provide the following details to further proceed in Registration.
  8. Provide NGO Address
  9. Mention NGO Registration authority (Under which act NGO is registered)
  10. Provider Registration Number of NGOs and Upload Registration Certificate Copy for Verification Purpose. and provide Act Name and Date of Registration under this Act
  11. Now provide details of all other registration of NGOs, for example, registered Like FCRA Registration GST Registration Etc.
  12. Now provided at least 3 Members detail of Executive Committee/ Founder Members/ Office Bearers as on date of Application with their designation.
  13. Now Provide details of past Sources of Funds, received from Government bodies in the Last 5 years.
  14. Provide Detail of Key persons, who can be contacted in case of any Query.
  15. In the core area, NGOs have to submit their core competencies in the area of activities done in a particular state. it will help the NGOs to receive grants from Government Departments according to their working area field.
  16. After providing above all these details. Your NGOs Profile is 100% Complete and after that submits the application.
  17. After submission of your application, your file is sent for verification and Processing to the concerned officer.
  18. After verification of your documents, the concerned officer will approve the application or ask for another document if any required.
  19. After your application is approved, you will be allotted a Unique Identification number, which will be used in the future for all correspondence purposes with Government.
